Rachelle Ann Go Tops 15% Poll for GPTV
ABS-CBN and Viva top prized young singer, Rachelle Ann Go beat the odds once again to lead the 15% separate poll for the Goddess of Philippine TV. From a whopping 5,070,785 votes from 14 February to 29 April 2009, one-fifth or 1,180,579 votes went to Go.
The number of votes comes from Mister Poll and 2 Poll Daddy polls.
The young singer with a powerful voice just became the winner of one of the biggest online polls, if not the biggest, in terms of number of votes.
Go is the only young star who got the 1-million mark.
The result of this poll comes into play at the fourth and final round of the search for the Goddess of Philippine TV. The finalists who will make up the Final Top 10 will get their 15% final scores from this poll.
Currently, there are still 25 female young stars from Kapuso and Kapamilya channels who are racing to the Top 10 at the third round of elimination. Thus, if Go will not advance to the Final 10 or fourth round, her score in this poll will never come to play and will be wasted.
But, interestingly, Go is also leading the third round of elimination. She is most likely to be included as a finalist.
